I have been working with those with developmental disabilities in the Ottawa community for the past 13 years. I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst registered with the OAP program.
In my 13 years in the Ottawa community, I have filled many roles in order to be able to provide the best service, most knowledge and most experience possible to families. I have filled roles as an ABA therapist for children 2-15; I have run social skills groups; I have collaborated directly with OTs to provide fine and gross motor skill development; worked directly with SLPs to integrate speech and language goals into sessions; worked in group homes; done academic based tutoring; filled practicum's at government-run agencies; provided behavioural coaching to parents; provided mentoring and skill development to staff ... and so much more. My knowledge of available services and service providers is extensive and I am happy to continue to support the Ottawa community within my many roles.
I want to help families by listening to the goals you want to prioritize, and putting strategies in place to address those goals. I believe in teaching skills that will have the biggest impact for the child.
